They do. Paste the short link exactly as you copied it from the Pinterest app. The backend resolves it to the full pin URL before fetching the media.
It is a deliberate trade-off. Sending 10 requests to Pinterest in the same millisecond looks like bot behaviour and risks a temporary block. Processing 3 at a time keeps things fast (about 8-10 seconds for a full batch of 10) while staying under the radar.
The downloader never touches your Pinterest account. It reads public pin pages the same way a browser does. There is no login, no API connection, and no link back to your profile. That said, use it for pins you actually have the right to save.
It gets marked as failed and shown in red, but the rest of the batch keeps going. A deleted pin or a private board will not stop the other 9 from downloading.
